I remember my dad, Jesse M. Anderson, watching this on the Red Skelton Show and weeping as Skelton recited it. My dad fought in WW2 in the South Pacific. He watched many friends die for liberty that is being threatened not from the outside but from the inside.
I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I pray that the United States of American have peace with God Almighty.











My dad was also a WWII veteran who was at the Battle of the Buldge. He did not often speak of that time in the war until he was older and then told of how he went against his commander to make sure supplies were sent to one of the companies involved. He wept as he explained his devotion to his country and his countrymen in arms. Thanks for posting this.
