Sunday in Piura and it seems that the weather cooled down a little. We are not far from the ocean and the clouds brought a cooling effect upon the city.
We started our first service at 9 am and didn’t have time for coffee. So we were asking the Lord to turn the water into coffee for us. I don’t think He did it but we laughed along the way.
After worship, Kevin called upon people that Pastor Lionel wanted him to minister healing to. There were several important ladies in the church with debilitating sicknesses. Kevin ministered to each of them as they showed signs of restoration but these were not sicknesses that could be seen. Yet the power of God was present and we will wait for reports of miracles.
I preached on the Kingdom of Heaven from Matthew 13:44-46 explaining that the Kingdom of heaven is our country, out nation and we are all fellow citizens. I taught the people about the great bloodline that we have from our heavenly Father and that we must not dishonor that bloodline by mixing it with the bloodline of this world through the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, nor the boastful pride of life. I spoke of the great treasure of the Kingdom of heaven and how the Lord placed it into the treasure chest of our hearts. We must sell all else for the sake of that single treasure. This Kingdom is our pearl of great price and we must cherish it.
The people seemed to hang on every word as they saw themselves in a new and exciting place. Faith filled the room as I prayed with the people, teaching them that we do not have a vote in our Kingdom, we have voice and our King always listens.
The people so received this gospel of the Kingdom of heaven that they began to dance and rejoice with a happiness and a joy as we have not witnessed before. I think it just might have been the happiest place on earth today at the God Is Love Baptist Church in Piura, Peru!
After the church we stood out in the open air lobby and hugged the people as they left and prayed for some of them and there was lots of kissing on the cheek, since that is their culture here.
They squeezed us into a taxi and took us off to a restaurant for a meal with Pastors Lionel & Gladys, their two daughters and a couple of their grand-children.

The evening service was joyous and even more lively than the ones before. I continues to preach on the Kingdom of God and the Spirit of Adoption that was given for every believer. Our Kingdom operates by the “law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus,” and that law supersedes all earthly laws of the kingdoms of this world. Kevin then gave words of knowledge about sicknesses and several people responded. A medical doctor had pain and stiffness in her shoulder, neck and back since 1998 from some kind of accident. She also had a tumor. She began to weep as both the pain left her body and the tumor disappeared. Two other people also had tumors or growths dissolve with the prayer of faith. Numerous other people had infirmities leave their bodies.
This service ended our ministry time in Piura. Back to the hotel to pack and catch a return flight to Lima in the morning.

It was a beautiful hot summer Saturday in Piura. We got a bit of rest in the morning with a leisurely cup of coffee and an internet connection to get some communications done. We were picked up by Pastor Lionel and taken to the city square for lunch at a restaurant that had a jungle motif. We discussed the city and the region as well as the church, asking Lionel what he needed from us. We walked around the city square and took in the activities of the people for an hour or so and then back to our hotel to get ready for an evening church service.
Church was lively and the expectations were high. The music is always as loud as it can get and it seems they like it that way.
I preached on the subject of taking the miracles of Jesus into your home from Matthew 9:1-8. Jesus went to his own home town and they brought Him a paralytic. Jesus first forgave the man’s sin and then said, “rise, take up your bed and walk.” The man got up and went to his home. Jesus was home and the man took the miracle to his own home. I fold the people that they could be imitators of us in the miracle healing power of Christ Jesus and do the same things that we do in their homes and their home meetings.
Kevin then ministered to quite a number of people with different infirmities. He called for those with eyesight problems and worked through several of them until there was clearing of their sight.
Here are some photos from the meetings:

Day One & Two: January 12 & 13, 2012
Kevin Ford & I flew all day, starting in the early morning and we arrived in Lima at around 11 AM. Long flights for both of us but they were uneventful and on time. We rejoiced to see the loving and friendly faces that we have come to know so well: Marco Llinella, Jonathan Llinella and Juan Carlos Ramirez.
We went on the usual Lima “joy ride” through to the other side of the city from the airport and immediately bedded down comfortably at the home of Juan Carlos & Aida. Aida is about to give birth to their very first baby at any time now. She is full term and is due to be induced on the 25th of the month. I’m hoping that the baby will come while we are here though, as we are scheduled to leave Peru on the 23rd.
We awakened on Friday morning and had a leisurely visit with our dear peruvian friends and fought to get internet connections to work to very little avail.
We then drove to Mira Flores and had an inspirational meeting with our new friend Ken Comer with lunch at one of my favorite cafe’s. We talked and told stories and we found out how Ken and his wife moved to Peru in 1999 from the US after pastoring in Montana for several years. We hope to continue to stay in contact with Ken and perhaps do some work with he and his wife here in Peru. Ken pastored in Montana in the same area with Pat & Val Holloran and they used to go fishing together. Due to the fishing relationship that was established between them I was able to hear some wonderful stories about my beloved friend Pat that I had not heard before…
We headed to the airport again and caught a short flight to Piura, which is in the north of Peru. It was a warm summer evening when we got off the plane and walked across the tarmac to the small airport terminal. There was a car and driver awaiting us to carry our luggage and we hopped in for a memorable ride to the Hotel Imperial, a place that Rick Wilson, Joshua Anderson, Kevin Ford and I called our resting place when we were here last year.
At the first meeting here in Piura, we met our friend Pastor Lionel. The music was loud and lively and the people were excited to see us again, along with many new faces. Marco and I preached on the Kingdom authority within every believer to protect their destiny by telling the devil, “Satan! Get out of my life!” The devil is to blame for sickness, pain, people abuse, robbery and poverty. The believer must take their position against the “father of lies” and command him to “Get out of my life!”
Kevin began to use the scriptures like words of knowledge, reading Matthew 8 where Jesus healed the leper, the paralytic, and the fever of Peter’s mother-in-law, thus he called for people with skin conditions, mobility issues and fever to come forward. Every person was healed that we ministered to. Demons were cast out of a young lady that came from a couple of towns away. She needed to be set free and she heard to some men were preaching the gospel in Piura and setting people free. Satan went out of her life when we commanded them with the voice of liberty in Jesus’ name.
The meeting was very powerful and we then were taken to Chiffa (Chinese) for our first meal in Piura.
We are looking forward to a very blessed time in Pirua for the next two days of ministry and fellowship with the ministries here.

Our Peruvian team led a Kingdom invasion into Peru!
Early morning in Arequipa was divine. The sun coming up over the volcanic Mt. Misti was something to remember. We loaded up the van and went to the airport where the pastors both met us just to say the last good bye. This was a very moving moment. They handed me money and gifts and thanked me profusely for the work of the kingdom of God that I brought to their church and their family. Their sister was delivered. Their mother was healed. Mirko’s wife was healing. Mirko’s father-in-law listened to me preaching on the radio and was convicted by the Spirit of God and came to the evening service last night and came forward, giving his life to Christ for the first time. Something that the family has prayed for years, as you can imagine. There is much rejoicing in the City of Arequipa because of the great things that God has done there.
The flight to Lima takes about an hour, so within a couple hours of being with the pastors in Arequipa we were found ourselves seated at a breakfast table with close friends of Marco and Malena who are Arab’s that were born in Israel. The man was actually born on December 24th at midnight in Bethlehem and his mother named him the Arabic word for “star”. He is a really warm and funny guy. They are like parents to Marco and Malena.
I’m now resting at Juan Carlos & Aida’s home. We will be going to the Inca Market after a nap and then to the airport where where I’ll catch my late night flight to Houston.

A view of the mountains of Arequipa from my hotel
I’m writing this from the ancient city of Arequipa, Peru. We got up at 3 am and started our travels here, arriving via a flight from Lima. This city has over a million people and is in the mountains at about 6 thousand feet above sea level. The sun shines here all the time and it is a beautiful day. My hotel room is over the city square with a window that opens out onto the street called San Francisco. I already have some great photos. The square has pigeons by the hundreds that land on the people and beg for food. Our hotel is on the city square and they are celebrating 470 years this weekend. Wow, that’s a lot of history.
I think that I am here at just the right time. The Pastor is a lady who is be persecuted and the Freemasons are directing there anger at her. They want her gone but she isn’t moving. So, I’m going to give them the revelation of the Table of the Lord and start casting out demons where ever possible…
The Lord showed me that there is much schizophrenia in this place because of the idol worship and the Pastor said that her own sister an sister-in-law are both schizophrenic and their family is suffering from it. So, this weekend I will be doing some serious warfare.
Anyway, I will be preaching in a revival service tonight and there should be some lightnings to report later…
So, we went to the Church right after a meal on Friday afternoon. The leadership of the church was gathered in the foyer of an old theater. I taught on the heart and making sure that they maintained their heart cleansed from all evil and then the servant heart of the Lord would come to them bringing freedom, light and life to their souls. We began laying hands on everyone. They brought several demon possessed people in also, in order that we might cast the demons out of them. Many of the leaders had demons to be cast out as well for as soon as we laid our hands upon them they began to manifest. We rested and came back to the church and the people filled a large theater.
The healing wonders of God were too many to write about. It seemed that the power of God was present to heal deaf ears. Every person that came to me with deafness began to hear immediately. I had it in mind that I would need to work a bit but that was not the case. I simply touched them and began to pray and they would flinch and Marco would ask, do you hear and they would say yes. Some cried but all smiled with the brightness of the sun.
A loud demon began manifesting in a woman to the side of the Theater and I knew one of the girls was involved so I left what I was doing to go check. It was Kylie who cast the devils out of a woman and she was doing real good. She was very happy because it was her first time to cast out demons all by herself. It was really fun to see.

This morning we sat for several hours with a national father at breakfast, who may become the next Vice-President of Peru. His niece who was with him had problems in her head, near her sinuses, but the doctors could not figure it out. I saw a black spot at her spine and prayed for her. She went into a kind of trances-like state and fell over right there in his home. When she came back up, she was healed! I told him some kind of trauma happened to her in the past from the back of her head, but he and his wife said they didn’t know of nothing that would have been. When she came to, she was asked if anything had happened to her in the past and she said her brother had beaten her with something in the back of her head when she was younger and that she had had this problem ever since then.
Tonight we will go to dinner with the team before coming back and pack for the next leg of our journey. The plan is to get up at 3 am to head to the airport to catch our flight south to Araquipa, a center of idolatry in the mountains of Peru. This region is at about 6,000 feet above sea level.
We will minister all weekend there. Marco said that he arranged things so that he could get me there because after witnessing the power of God and spiritual influence that I am having in Peru, he thinks I can cause a breakthrough in the spirit of things there.
Please be praying as we are going into the enemy’s camp where there is much idolatry still today. I know that we will be delivering many people from demon possession and we believe that there will be an unprecedented breakthrough in the spirit. Intercessors, I need you to fight back the kingdom of darkness on our behalf so that we might set the captives free!

Marco said the name of the “Resurrection Church” we went to yesterday is named the “City Of Refuge” church, which I think that fits pretty well.

Me with pastor's Rosa, Moses, and Marco
This morning at breakfast I sent you the preceding account of our journey so far. After I sent out the report, we went to the home of a pair of pastors: Moses, his wife Rosa. They had pastored in the Baptist church for 20 some years before they were filled with the Holy Spirit and got kicked out. This caused them to lose all of their friends and even their relatives would not talk to them. Despite all of this, they continued to ministered to the people of a poor area of what I believe is south east Lima. In short order, they soon had a church up and running with the freedom of the Spirit, but no one in Peru wanted to help to them. Most of their help in building the church came from America, so he was eager to know us and to let us know that we are very welcome here.
Because Moses & Rosa had been treated like lepers and cast out of the church, with even their friends and family dishonoring them, I told them that that persecution was what has given them the glorious anointing that they now carry. It is a glorious anointing that sets the captives free from the confines of dead religion of all kinds.
I had a vision of him in the pulpit of his church with two sizable angels at his back. These angels were both holding scrolls of the Word of God in their hands. The angels proceeded to unroll the scrolls to reveal Jesus. So, I prophesied over him about the word becoming alive to him like never before. That the revelation of Jesus was coming out of him and his preaching was coming in a new and exciting manner. I then asked if we could go to his church and pray. After we finished our coffee at his house, we drove over to the church and found out that the baptist church he had pastored is across the street from his present church building. The baptist church has around 40-50 people in it, while he has over 600 in his church now and it grows regularly, on a weekly basis.
I prayed in their empty church building and prophesied 2 Corinthians 4: 1-10 to them personally but gave Psalm 144 to the church itself. We left to go visit the market and a shoe maker friend of Marco’s and then to lunch at a chicken restaurant. Marco then told me that I will be preaching in that church tomorrow night. So, we’ll see what takes place then.
I want to say something that is stirring within me. I told you that I have been studying leprosy in the scripture. I now see that it was a preparation for this trip. I had lost my love for nations and only saw even this as labor and responsibility. I had once looked at the poor of the nations in a warm romantic way, (romantic in the poetic use of the word), but have lost it somewhere along the way. This poor people have been restoring my love for the poor that I once had. I was studying leprosy hoping that I might be compassionate toward the downtrodden again. I did not know there were such poor in Peru. I am totally surprised at what is actually here. In fact, I’m shocked at how little I know about South America and all that is possible here. Lima is a very big city. It is chock full of people that are so kind and willing to hear the gospel. I have yet to be turned down by a single stranger that I ask if they would give their lives to Jesus Christ and let him come and live inside their hearts. Each one prays a simple invitation prayer and they begin to cry. Every one of them cries. It is a most fulfilling adventure that is causing me to want to bring them home with me.

City of Refuge Worship
Tuesday evening we went on the wild ride through the City of Lima north over a mountain pass to the city of Huaral where the City of Refuge Church was a waiting our arrival. Pastor Morales was at the door to greet us with a warm and excited hug. Worship started with exuberance; they really like it loud here! Pastor Morales really wanted to get to the action so he didn’t let the worship go long and he invited me to the pulpit with Pastor Marco quickly. I preached from Luke 13 about the kingdom of God being like a mustard seed. I challenged the witch doctors and spell casters and told the people that the kingdom of Jesus will always win and break the chains that the devil puts upon people. I announced over and over that the kingdom of Light, the kingdom of our God, will always win over the kingdom of darkness with the witches and their spells. I said we would break every spell that’s been placed of every soul in this church tonight. Well, as you can imagine, the demons started manifesting and we were casting outdevils most of the night. The sounds of deliverance rang through the building. Here’s what we saw: 15 to 18 people were saved, with another 20 to 30 rededicating their lives to Christ. Over 100 responded to give every part of themselves over to Jesus Christ and His glorious kingdom. The power was present and many were healed but it was so chaotic that I am unable to report on any specific healings.
