The Law Of Life!

On November 27, 2009, in Divine Healing, by Wayne C Anderson

“When you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you are saved from the law of sin and death and the capsule of the old man dies. You die and Jesus comes to life in you. Yet more than that, you come now from heaven instead of this earth!”

John 17: 23: “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them, as thou have loved me.”

There is a magnificent love that God the Father has for you. He loves you, just as He also loves Jesus. What He did for Jesus, He does for every one of His children, without partiality. You are born again, that is, “reborn from above.” Your Father is the Father of lights and you are of Him. Your make-up is from Him. You have His DNA and His likeness, not to mention that you are heir to His eternal Kingdom.

Jesus said to the Pharisees, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.” (John 8:23 NKJV) Here is a key issue of who we are and where we are from. We say that we are of a certain nationality, family line, bloodline, country, region or citizenship. Yet Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3 NKJV) The literal Greek words for “born-again” can be translated, clearly as, “re-born from above.”

What this means is, when you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you are saved from the law of sin and death and the capsule of the old man dies. You die and Jesus comes to life in you. Yet more than that, you come now from heaven instead of this earth! Your citizenship is the New Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven. You are from above. The old man that died came from this world. The new creature has been sent from heaven above.

You did not come up from the watery grave. You came from heaven. You therefore abide by the laws of heaven, which have a higher authority than the laws of the world. That is why Jesus was able to walk on the water. The laws of physics are under the authority of the “law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus” from which we abide.

To obey the laws of the land is meant to be the strategy of God to show the world a kind of righteous that they can see. These laws are political, common and social laws. Yet, these laws are not inclusive and though we are told to obey them, we must do so only as long as they do not over-ride the laws of the higher authority, to which we have submitted ourselves unto. It would be treason to our King to do so. This is why Christians have been thrown in jail and even been executed for two millennia.

In order to see the sick healed, we must obey the higher law. It is that high law that comes from heaven that over-rides the laws of physics and changes the very physical nature of molecules, cells, tissue and even the activities of organs in a body. The laws of physics must bow to the higher authority of the nature of the One Who is from above and not from the world. If He had been from the world then He would have to obey the laws of the world. He is from above and has fully obeyed the laws of the Kingdom from which He comes. He comes in the name of the one Who is the authority of that Kingdom. He does the will, (law) of His Father and the all the laws of creation yield unto the “law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus!”

The Healer Lives In YOU!

On November 26, 2009, in Divine Healing, by Wayne C Anderson

“He has overcome sickness and disease, trauma and poverty, curses and the bondages of sin. These are the monuments of Satan. These are the works of Satan and the reason that Jesus has come into you!”

The Kingdom is the “rule and reign of God” where Jesus Christ is King of all kings and Lord of all lords. The first question that must be answered by you, the reader, is, “Are you born again?” If so, then you must know that Jesus Christ is Lord of all that you are and all that you have.

(1 Corinthians 6:19 – 20 NKJV)  ”Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

The temple is created for the express purpose of a dwelling for the Spirit of God. The activity of the temple as well as its construction, its operations and its maintenance is for the purpose of the habitation of the Holy Spirit!

Who is the King, Ruler, Possessor, Provider and Supervisor of this dwelling place?  Is it Jesus the victorious and royal King?

Are You His workmanship?
Are you His property?
Are you His child?
Is He the Lord and possessor of all that you have and all that you are?

If you answered an unwavering YES to all of these vital questions, then, every cell in your body and every fiber of your soul belong unto HIM!

God is no respecter of persons!  He will manage the properties that belong to Him. And that includes your body! Obedience is the testimony of ownership and submission; it is the “deed of trust.” If the body and soul are made, constructed and created, to obey the King, then the King will take care of His own. It is a matter of dominion. Christ must reign as King. If He is King, He will show Himself as Healer, Deliverer, Savior and Lord!

(1 John 5:12 NKJV)  He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

If the Son of God possesses (owns and operates) you, then you have the Son of God!  In Him is life. Abundant life is His promise to you through the person of Jesus Christ. This life is full and effervescent and overflowing with regenerating power from the heart of God. His Life overcomes death and degeneration. Life and light always overcome death and darkness.

No matter how dark and vast a room is, the smallest of match heads, when lit, will drive the darkness away and rule in that dark atmosphere. The same is true with life! No matter how much death is concentrated into one place, (one body), when life comes on the scene death cowers to life’s authority. It is the “law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus that has set you free from the law of sin and death!”

(John 10:10 NKJV) “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

This is abundant life! Superfluous, overflowing, overpowering, over-doing, overcoming LIFE!  This life is the substance of God’s kingdom. This life is eternal. This is the life that has come to “whoever believes on Him.” We need to yield to His life, now

1 Corinthians 1: 27 & 28:
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:  Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:”

The Word of God tells us that each man is being presented perfect in the faith of God to Christ, Who is the possessor of every man and woman of the faith. Perfect in all His ways. Jesus Christ is Victor over the imperfect one of this world.

He has overcome sickness and disease, trauma and poverty, curses and the bondages of sin. These are the monuments of Satan. These are the works of Satan and the reason that Jesus has come into you! The old man is dead and you are a new creature in Christ Jesus! His life and light overcomes the sickness and disease, trauma and poverty, curses and the bondages of sin and sends them to the watery grave through baptism. Now it is no longer you who live and own the properties of your body and soul. It is Christ who has taken up residency and ownership.

1 John 3:8:
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

So let the reader make this confession, aloud:
“I have taken Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of my body, soul and spirit. All that I have and all that I am belongs to Him. I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus and I am a new creation. All that was before, is done away with. Every cell in my body and every fiber of my soul belongs to Jesus Christ. Satan was defeated by Jesus at the cross. Satan is defeated now. I give and have given every member of my body to obey every command of the King Who resides in me. He has forgiven me and removed every transgression from me and there is not a hint of sin in my spirit, my soul or my flesh. He has also given me divine health for His pleasure because He will not deny Himself. Every cell in this body of His must come under the authority of the Christ that dwells in it. Eternal life is flowing through me because I have the Son, therefore, I have eternal life. Abundant life is springing up in me as an artesian well, regenerating life and light of its own strength! Therefore, because of Him, I am healed! Delivered! Set Free!”

God WILL Heal You! (One)

On November 20, 2009, in Divine Healing, by Wayne C Anderson

“y passion for divine healing obviously started as a young child because I had hated the sickness that my mother was debilitated by. I still hate sickness. This too accounts for my interest in emergency medicine and involvement in the medical programs of the fire departments for which I worked in my early adult years.”

Introduction: A Testimony Of Why

“But to you who fear My name the sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in its wings; and you shall leap about like calves loosed from the stall.” (Malachi 4:2)

It is a new day! This is a day that is marked with righteousness. A righteousness that comes by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. For righteousness does not come by doing what is right or acting rightly. But the righteousness of God can come upon you like a clothing. The righteousness of God is revealed upon you when you believe the gospel of God’s grace through Jesus Christ. His mercy will heal and deliver you, if you will only believe on His mercy!

Now, I’d like to tell you why I believe in divine healing. It appears to many that our ministry is centered around divine healing.

When I was first born into the kingdom of God, I had a supernatural vision that was a call into the ministry of the gospel of Christ. I don’t believe that it is necessary to have such a vision to do the work of the ministry and most people are not called into the ministry this way. I think that it is more usual that people are called by their passion and desire. But perhaps I happened to be with such littleness of faith in the beginning that God gave me a supernatural vision.

I had been hearing the voice of God for several days in a row. He was saying that He wanted me to preach and proclaim this gospel that had so gloriously saved me. Yet, I was arguing with God about it. I knew no better. It was my assumption that He had too many Billy Graham’s in the world at that time and He didn’t need another one. Especially not me! I was a businessman and a firefighter. I liked it that way. I just loved Jesus. I was throwing myself into Jesus totally, I thought.

He would say, “I call upon you to preach this gospel.” I would say, “No.” I don’t remember how long this went on. All I know was that God had patience. I would never talk to Him in the manner in which I did then. He loves us past our rebellion.

On a particular sunny afternoon, while I was busy arguing with the Lord over this point of being a preacher, I was thinking that a nap would be in fine order for that portion of my day. I didn’t even get a chance to fall asleep when very suddenly, I had a multi-dimensional drama that went on in the air right in front of my face and it filled the entirety of the room where I was.

I saw my grandfather who had been dead for about 6 or 8 years at that time. He was a Southern Pentecostal man of God. He was a beautiful man. He used to tell me Bible stories when I was a child. I do so wish that I had listened to him with greater intent. He was gone before I was ever a Christian.

In this three-dimensional vision was my grandfather. He was standing at the window of his house that I easily recognized. He was looking out into the yard and as He gazed into the yard I saw what he was so intently looking toward. There I was as a little boy standing on an apple box that was laid down on the ground with another apple box up on its end in front of me like a little pulpit. In front of me were chairs in the yard set up in theater style and I recognized my cousins in their childhood days. I had a book on that little pulpit and I was preaching to them.

This vision was from a perspective that was controlled of God. My view was like that of a movie, whereby the cameral moved about and focused on different aspects of this scene as if it were important for me to see certain things.

First I was looking at my grandfather, standing in the window, overlooking the church service of children in the yard. There, on the little pulpit was a book that it appeared as if I was preaching out of instead of a Bible. It is a book and I can see it very clearly at all times, as this picture has been sort of burned into my soul. The book had a yellowish cover that says as its title, “God Will Heal You!” I could also see the faces of my cousins as I was preaching to them. As my viewpoint of this scene changed I could then see my grandfather standing “ bent over” and watching this backyard church scenario. I looked directly at him and could see that his face was intent. There were tears coming down from his eyes. They were tears of joy and expectancy. It was here that the end of the vision came.

It was at that point that I realized beyond the shadow of any doubt that my grandfather had called upon God, and interceded before God, and dedicated me unto the work of the Lord. For the service of God. From this vision I arose and answered the call of God and gave Him my life to His service.

It was probably a dozen years later, while I was telling this story in my church that it just so happened that my mother was sitting there in the audience. She listened to it for the first time and I noticed that she was visibly moved. I didn’t know exactly why except that I figured that it was because I was speaking of her late father.

She went home that afternoon and called me to her home and handed me a book; a book that had belonged to my grandfather. I had never seen that book to my knowledge.

When I was a little boy, my mother was very sick for a long time. I stayed a great deal with my grandparents. My grandfather had given my mother a book because of her illness. It was a book by Reverend A. A. Allen and its title was “God Will Heal You!”

This is the very book that my mother was showing to me and directly under the title on the front cover of this book was the reason that my mother had saved it. At some time when I was a little boy I had written with a pencil on its cover. Immediately under the title of “God Will Heal You,” I wrote the word “Mama.”

My mother gave me the book that was in the vision. “Will Heal You, Mama” by A. A. Allen, the cover on it says.

My wife and I were saved through healing of our son, Joel, as an infant. We ignorantly walked in a belief that caused healing to take place in our early days of life in Christ.

As the years passed, I became the seventh president of the Ministerial Fellowship of the USA, which was founded on the ministry of Dr. John G. Lake. I was five years the president of that organization.  During my tenure I researched Lake’s ministry and became probably one of a very few living experts on the life and times of John G. Lake having edited much of what you know as the writings and sermons of Dr. John G. Lake.  The reason for this was because of what God was going to do.

On the day that I became the President of that organization my wife and I left for some reason, I don’t even remember why we did it. Less than forty-eight hours, from the time I was made the President of that organization I was standing over John G. Lakes’ grave in Spokane, Washington. This is still a mystery to me as to how it all came about.

While at the grave sight our little girl, Lacey, and my wife, Irene, were out looking at the other graves as is usually done on one of those sunny day strolls through a scenic cemetery. As I was standing above Lake’s grave and leaning up against a tree right that is at his headstone I was contemplatively talking to God and I said, “God if it would at all be possible put even a portion of that man’s spirit upon my life.” An experience came upon me of which words do not do justice.

We returned home and, after some months later, I was editing some of the materials of John G. Lakes’ one evening. In the particular work that I was editing, he was preaching a sermon and was telling the story of going back to Zion City, the place of the ministry of John Alexander Dowey. He said that this the dear old man, though in the last years got off a bit, had the substance of divine healing in him to the place where he was told that even at his funeral people were healed.

And he said something like, “I got to preach in that great tabernacle and he said there were what he called the ‘implements of the devil,’ (as Dowey called them), hanging as decorations around that tabernacle.” Those decorations were wheelchairs and walkers and braces and crutches and pills and potions which men and women gave up, having no need for them because they were healed of their afflictions. These were “instruments of the devil” and they were hanging up as decorations in the tabernacle.

Lake continued his preaching by calling out a woman in that audience, by name, and another man whom he also names, telling how both of these were ridden with sickness and disease and went to John Alexander Dowry’s meetings and were touched by the Lord and healed and their testimonies were right there in the audience to which Lake spoke.

He told of how after preaching in that great tabernacle, “I had the opportunity of going to the graveside of Dowey.”  And he said, “As I stood over that grave I cried out to God: ‘God, if it be possible put even a portion of this man’s spirit upon me.’”

And all of a sudden the lights went on in the darkness of my room where I was sitting and working on my computer. (For, there was only the light of the computer.) Yet the room lit up and I felt the same feeling that was upon me the day when I was standing over Lake’s grave! I realized that I had said precisely the same words. It was, in fact, very mysterious to me. This event caused me to try to understand the wonders of God’s anointing. In time I came to know that the anointing is inheritable.

My passion for divine healing obviously started as a young child because I had hated the sickness that my mother was debilitated by. I still hate sickness. This too accounts for my interest in emergency medicine and involvement in the medical programs of the fire departments for which I worked in my early adult years.

Prayer That Will Change The World – Part Four

Having read the preceding parts of “Prayer That Will Change The World,” we now should discuss the “importune prayer” that Jesus taught his disciples about in Luke chapter eleven.

(Luke 11:5 – 9 NKJV)  And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’?

“I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.”

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

“For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

The issue of the effects of prayer are much that same here as in the parable of the unrighteous judge.  A key word is however mistranslated from the King James and in most English versions. This word “persistence” is more literally defined from the Greek text as “shamelessness.”  The original Biblical Greek word from which it is rendered, has to do with the “face of shame” with the prefix reversing its actual meaning. In other words, this should be translated as “face without shame.”

Because of the grace of God that has been given unto the believer through believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, we are herein required to “face” this great and glorious throne of grace without shame, believing that He will give to you what you are asking.

The culture from which Jesus spoke was also of great influence in the listeners understanding at the time. Friends did not come to visit without receiving the best hospitality possible and one would beg or borrow anything needed to make one’s guests know hospitality. The greater shame would be to not be hospitable.

It is never too late an hour for God. He has not ever shut up the heavens from you.  You may knock on that great gate of heaven and it will be opened unto you as you face it without shame. Unbelief is the shame of the Christian. Faith is our boldness. Faith in Jesus Christ and the fact that He has done all of the work for us in order that we can come to God without hindrance, without rejection.

Apostolic Direction For Prayer:

(1 Tim 2:1 – 8 NKJV)  ”Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle; I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying; a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

There is an apostolic command that becomes a spiritual strategy for a city, community or nation.

Supplications are an intercessory work; the pleading of someone’s case before the Judge. Presenting the facts of the case.  Letting the Judge hear and see the testimony of the evidence. This is the first and most important step of spirit intercession.

Approaching The Lord With Your Need Face Up!

“And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, ‘Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.’ Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’ Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, ‘See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.’” (Matthew 8:2 – 4 NKJV)

Once again, Jesus has healed a leper. This time the leper comes with a different approach to Him of his healing. What the leper does not do is ask Him if it is His “WILL.” The word “will” in its original text means, passion and desire. The statement, which the leper makes unto Jesus, is a loving idiom, saying, “You can heal me if you’d like to!” Jesus replies, “I’d love to!”

Because this act of heaven touching earth was between Jesus and the man who was cleansed, Jesus asked the man to go give a proper testimony of his healing and deliverance an obey the word of God!

In the same way, Jesus desires to heal you! Come to Him with the same kind of humility that this leper did and He will do the same for you that He did for him! Be sure that you account for your miracle and give testimony!

There is an old saying that is thought provoking in itself: “We are never so high as when we are on our knees.”

In Luke Eleven, Jesus was “praying in a certain place…”  We need to enter into that place daily just as He did, and learn how to pray. His effectiveness in prayer was obvious to His disciples. So much so that they asked him to teach them how to pray.

On several occasions in both the gospels and the epistles we are given apostolic instructions concerning prayer.

I believe that following lines of prayer are apostolically important to this time and I seen them as biblical orders for apostolic prayer that will bring reviving life to any region!

1. Pray and ask believing! Without faith it is impossible to please God!

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.’”  (Mark 11:23 – 24 NKJV)

2. Pray that you enter not into temptation!

“When He came to the place, He said to them, ‘Pray that you may not enter into temptation.’”  (Luke 22:40 NKJV)

3. Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you!

“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,”  (Matthew 5:44 NKJV)

This does not mean that we are to get out the “Killer Psalms” to pray for them, but rather speak blessings into their lives just as you would those who are dear to you.  Stop cursing and start prophesying.

4. Pray the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into His harvest field!

“Then He said to them, ‘The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’”  (Luke 10:2 NKJV) also found in Matthew 9:36,

5. Pray for boldness! To speak his word with confidence!

“‘Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.’  And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”  (Acts 4:29 – 31 NKJV)

We must put to work the things we learned in the preceding parts of this school of prayer that we call “Prayer That Will Change The World.”

So, let us realize that God often uses you to be the answer to a people for which you pray.

  • Let us pray for Churches
  • Let us pray for Businesses
  • Let us pray for New Businesses
  • Let us pray for New Churches that will be planted
  • Let us pray for Schools
  • Let us pray for Governments

A Monument Of Prayer

(Luke 18:1 – 8 NKJV)  Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man.

“Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man,  ’yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”

Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?

“I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Here is a parable that was meant to be revealed to the children of God and yet stay as a mystery to those who do not have the ears to hear the voice of the Spirit of the living God. Prayer has to do with presenting ones self in the presence of a higher authority. Opening up communications, and even presenting facts and evidence, to receive justice that is due by right or by favor. To open up that communication status is to not only articulate your purposes but to ultimately hear from the Authoritative Party a word that is longed for. This parable is about just that.

First of all, we must see that Jesus in involved with “cities.”  Over and over, the Word of God presents intercession on behalf of cities.  Cities are covenant communities that were to be the possession of the King of Glory! Each city being a type and a shadow of the New Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven. Each city, where we live is a kind of Jerusalem to each of us. When Jesus gave the promise of the Holy Spirit, He said that we would then be witnesses, (as those who give testimony on a witness stand), first in Jerusalem.  Now I know that He was speaking literally of the very city of promise in which those disciples lived.  But if we are to take hold of the spiritual promise in regards to the covenanted power and the person of the Spirit, then we must also hear the words of another “Jerusalem” which is where the Holy Spirit visits us, personally. We take this testimony of Jesus Christ from our Jerusalem, but first, “unto” our Jerusalem.

The judge of this parable is the system of the world’s justice. I’m not talking about the court system. I’m talking about the principle of worldly judging. Opinions, lusts, desires fears, and greed, all contribute to the establishment of the “unjust judge.” This judge’s character is shown in his lack of regard for either spiritual judgment from the high court of heaven, or even earthly judgment and the discerning between what is right and wrong. He judges according to what he feels is good for him.

Because his conscience is founded upon his selfish lusts and desires he, at first, has no regard for the case of the woman of prayer.  This woman is the type of the Church. She is a widow. The “widow” is the bride of Christ, whose husband has died and left her His Kingdom to abide in on earth. Someone has usurped her authority over that kingdom. She cries out for justice.

There are two halls of justice being spoken of here: The world and the throne of grace. We are given secrets into our victories in both courts. In the worldly court, we must approach with our case being built upon the knowledge of the satisfaction of the selfish desire of the world.  We must therefore station ourselves with a persevering stand, convincing the judge that you are not going to go away and that it behooves him to judge on your behalf in order to get rid of you.

In the second hall of justice, which is the throne of grace, we must approach that throne with faith, in order that the word of God might find faith, (literally, “the faith”), that will over ride the physical laws of the world. The result of judgment from this throne is a miracle from the righteous Judge.

When we approach the judge of the world, it may very well take some time. Being filled with the Spirit, the Spirit will produce His fruit to include patience, self-control, etc. When we have made our presentation successfully, the worldly parties will assume that you are not going to fly away or be discouraged in your plight.  They will therefore be much more willing to give in to your request. There is no need to be unkind, nor should there be any lack of gentleness in our approach to the world.  If we deal with them harshly, we will more than likely be treated harshly.

In similar likeness, we must approach the Righteous Judge before His throne of grace with faith, rather than persistence. The fact that His elect who cry out day and night to Him shows the eternal existence and importance of our words unto our heavenly Father! This is not a picture of repetitive prayers.  It is eternal words that are held as a monument and treasured by God because of the ingredient of faith.

So then, we take our stand boldly with the world and show our immovable persistence! We also take our stand before the throne of grace with immovable faith, knowing that, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

With faith in operation our prayers become a monument in the courts of the Lord! Consider Cornelius:

“There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always. About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, ‘Cornelius!’  And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, ‘What is it, lord?’ So he said to him, ‘Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.’”  (Acts 10:1 – 4 NKJV)

Cornelius became a model of giving and prayer for the Church. His praying brought about a visitation to his entire household. Was it worth his time and effort to show such diligence in giving and in praying? Can we see that the prayers of Cornelius became a memorial, or monument, before the Lord? From that very monument the Lord sent for the answer to his prayers and gave him a visitation of an angel, which precluded a visitation of an apostle! Wow! Cornelius establishes his life as a man of prayer and faith and result is a visitation of the kingdom of God to his household.

Let us become a model of prayer. Prayer for a lifetime.

Prayer That Will Change The World – Part Two

On November 18, 2009, in Prayer & Fasting, by Wayne C Anderson

“Our prayers will pull down false leaders and raise up the true ones. We open closed doors and bring light into dark places. We close doors of immoral businesses and clear the path for righteous business!”

If you have now read the preceding part of “Prayer That Will Change The World” you will know that we are on a quest to build notable and even measurable skills in prayer so that we are not religiously exercising some unknown discipline but we are actually partnering with God to see the will of the Father being done upon the Earth today.

As people of prayer we reign with the Lord Jesus being “seated together” with Him as He is seated at the right hand of majesty. He shares His throne of regal rule with us in united prayer. We are gathered together with Him!

The Lord hears the righteous. His judgments are just and true. If we seat ourselves with Him (by praying) we execute judgment upon the nations (Psalm 149) and this is an honor that He bestows upon us.

“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment; This honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!” (Psalms 149:6 – 9 NKJV)

We do not look at the work of the devil. We look down upon his strongholds. We thwart his strategic maneuvers. We break the bonds of his captives. We release his prisoners from the prisons that he has placed them in.

Our prayers will pull down false leaders and raise up the true ones. We open closed doors and bring light into dark places. We close doors of immoral businesses and clear the path for righteous business!

We pray and resistant people become receptive or they flee.

By prayer the Church is mobilized.  ”As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’” (Acts 13:2 NKJV)

Laborers of the harvest are sent to the fields and prayer will empower His workers to do signs, wonders and miracles in His name.

Jesus told the seventy as He sent them out, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest . . . and heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’” (Luke 10:2 & 9 NKJV)

Prayer will reveal the apostles and prophets, the evangelists, shepherds and teachers that are not yet represented at His throne. They are delivered out from their places in the darkness of the world and placed into their dwelling places with the Father.

It is no wonder that Satan will distract us from our places of prayer and intercession. Yet we must become history makers. We must change the course of the generation and its destiny – direct its future by the will of God!

In the state of prayer we are kingdom shaking, nation taking, revival pouring, miracle working, light emitting, bondage breaking, devil stomping, etc. etc.

May the fire from the altar of heaven fall on every place, every people and every government and every business that you name! As you stand with your High King and annunciate the holy Father’s will.
