Chepen, Peru

On day two in Peru, Joshua, Marco and I went to the bus station and caught a bus for an hour and a half ride to the city of Chepan. We were met by the pastor and the assistant pastor of the Church we are ministering in. They took us first to drop our luggage off at a hotel called the Dorado Hotel of Chepen. We then went to have lunch at the church in a restaurant that is on premises. After eating we were taken upstairs and interviewed on the church’s radio station and invited the people to come out to the services.

Taken back then to the hotel to change our attire for ministry we came back to the church where around 100 cell group leaders assembled for ministry from us.

I taught these leaders about the substance of God and the love of the Father. They were tremendously moved and showed all of the classic signs of spiritual hunger. I prayed for them corporately and invited them to agree with me as I preach to the people in the night service. It was a very powerful time and the pastors reported to Marco that the presence of Christ was so significant that it was life changing to them all.

Chepen and the surrounding mountains

I compared the power of God’s kingdom to the kingdom of the devil, the one whom the shamans and the new age witches give there allegiances unto. I described power and spent time talking about how electric power was nothing in comparison to the power of the Love of God. I continually preach the kingdom of God in such a way that I am separating the differences in the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of Light.

While we were sitting in a coffee shop in the city center, resting and awaiting the evening service, the power went out in the whole city. Pastor Dante said he did not know of that sort of thing ever happening before. They brought us a candle to our table in the restaurant and we continued to talk for another hour or so before returning to the church for the service. When we got to the church they were using a generator for lights and sound. Sometime during the worship service, the power went back on in the city but many here assumed that it was because I was preaching about power that the power actually went off. The devil was fighting us, is what they said. This lack of power caused the people to stay away from the church service so the pastors were apologizing for the poor turnout.

None the less, we preached the kingdom of God and I prophesied a revival in Peru. We prayed for the people and again, not only were there healing miracles but more importantly the Lord was pouring out His love to the people. A little girl who said she was 10 years old, was crying in her mother’s arms. Marco asked the mother why she was crying to which the mother replied that she had seen Jesus in went we were ministering to people. Marco asked if she had ever seen anything like that before and her mother said that this is the very first time she had ever seen anything spiritual and acknowledge it. So, Marco and I interviewed the little girl who told us that she opened her eyes and saw Jesus walking amongst the people and loving them – each of them. This was a very powerful atmosphere to be ministering in. And we are definitely looking forward to what the next day will bring.

Now it is important to note that in every service that we have ministered, someone has seen Jesus come and minister. I believe this to have important apostolic implications and could be a sign and wonder that might even be a nucleus for revival in this nation of Peru.

As a team, we have not had much time to talk together. Rick is in a city doing services where similar things are taking place. Kevin remains in the church in Chiclayo having the same. I am really wanting to get some time in the next day or so to actually hear the reports of their services and the things that they are seeing done.

Joshua, Marco & I are very excited about these happenings. We have all been ministering in the miraculous for many years and we feel that this is a new and exciting day. It is possible that something very big is going to take place in Peru in the coming months and years that will be written in the history books of the church – the ecclesia of the living God…

Be sure to know that Jesus Christ is being magnified and His ministry is being manifested in Peru in this important hour.

We will be another day with the church here in Chepen tomorrow, Sunday, 20th, February, 2011. I believe that history is being written in the “book of remembrance” of the Lord and perhaps even the “Book of the wars of the Lord” that the scripture speaks of.

It’s called “Fasting: God’s Atomic Power!”

Hall worked with a number of the healing evangelists in the mid twentieth century and seemed to be respected by them all.

I read this book and another one that I have every once in a while and find myself fasting because it is anointed…
