We returned to Lima from Ica in the early morning. It was a long ride along the coastline of Peru. We got to Lima a unpacked and started a regiment of some very important meetings. We made a few very strategic visits to some people in national politics and then went to a national Apostolic & Prophetic Conference to meet several apostolic minters from other latin countries.

We drove back to Fundamento Cristo Eglesia, the church pastored by Marco & Melina Llinella where I taught the people the principles of the kingdom of God and how important the gospel of the kingdom is to break the power of the devil over the people of Lima and the nation. We then ministered the miracles of the kingdom of heaven to the people for a couple of hours. Many sicknesses were healed and people were set free.

We had a short sleep and off we went through the morning Lima traffic to the other side of the city to visit former Finance Secretary for the Peruvian government, Pablo Pedro Kuchinsky, (PPK). We met Mr. Kuchinsky in his home over coffee. Our discussions about the conditions of the poor in Peru, the satte of the economy of the world and the current polictial situations were our topics. Mr. Kuchinsky said that he desired to keep in contact and establish a relationship so we have exchanged information in order to do so.

Our next meeting was at the home of Keiko Fugimori who nearly won the last presidential election by a very small margin of votes. The Lord had given me a word for Ms. Fugimori as she is preparing for the next election in five years. I believe she will be the next president of the nation of Peru and will set a new pace for the politics of latin american and perhaps the world. She asked me to pray for her before we left and I took her hand and placed the blessings of the kingdom of God upon her. This was an extraordinary meeting that will probably set more meetings with her in the future.

We then met over coffee with Pastor Pedro Vilchez who is a political strategist for Fugimori and has set up most of the meetings that we have been attending with important politicians. He asked me to write a book for the Peruvian people concerning the kingdom of God. He also asked if I would come and teach a bible study to the congressional leaders and that he was working on having me address the congress of Peru at some time in the future.

Our next meeting was with Tom Mraz, who is president of the Thunderbird Resort chain in South America. Tom is a gracious man who loves to support ministries who are helping the Peruvian people and desires to be a business contact for us in Peru and elsewhere if possible.

We then attended the national Apostolic & Prophetic Conference for the second day in a row. I addressed the crowd of around a thousand people and introduced a few principles of the kingdom of God and what we are focused on in the USA. There was a tremendous excitement in the conference as we left.

Then we traveled across the city of Lima once again to our second meeting at the Fundamento Cristo Eglesia, where I taught a message on the releasing power of the kingdom of heaven and then we laid our hands upon the leadership of the church and sent them to minister to the sick.

After church we drove to another part of Lima to attend the 25th wedding anniversary of a pastor and wife who are very prominent in the political scene and was Keiko Fugimori’s first choice as a running mate in the past election. He however turned her down, due to personal obligations.

These were two very busy days with lots of meetings and little sleep, so we just keep plugging away at it. More wonders of God in Arequipa to come.

Intuitions and the Heart

I’d like to set some things right about the power and purity of our intuitions. All too often, everything we think is oversimplified and thrown into the categories of either the carnal mind or the prophetic. If there is any thought that comes along seeming to be a little more that factual known evidence it tends to be referred to as prophetic. The prophetic then becomes a pile of incidents of the unknown causing judgments of spirituals to get increasingly more harsh and even condemning.

Although it is not difficult to understand, the soul of man is more intricate than we have made it. Intuition is not the same as prophetic.

Intuition is a conglomeration of angelic helps, the operation of creation, experience and emotion. We should consider our intuition an extraordinary thing and even give it close attention. I believe that we should even honor the intuitive abilities that we have and give them place in our lives in order to become all that we are meant to be.

Prophetic, on the other hand, is the articulation of the Holy Spirit.

In contrast, intuition is “thinking with your heart” instead of your intellect. Yet, intuition does not have to oppose the brain. In the lineal thinking of a computerized generation there is a desire to have every activity in its place. Machines are not smarter than people. It is our intuition is that makes the difference. Computer may be deductive but they can never truly be intuitive.

If we take a quick look at how the Father create us in gender we will find that intelligence is equal to both male and female. Along this line, women may be “weaker vessels” but they are not weaker people. Men, by brute strength, tend to look in a most lineal way at almost everything and in general they don’t tend to exercise their abilities to feel their way through life. This produces a sizeable lack and thus the need to be helped. So, men tend to mix intellect with strength and energy, while women combine their intelligence with their heart.

In my emergency medical training I was taught to pay close attention to the mothers intuition, as it usually was more correct than our feeble attempts at science. You see, science has the ability of leading you down the wrong path without the coalition of the power of the mothers intuition.

Great leaders, great explorers, great inventors, great entrepreneurs, both use and rely upon their intuition. Intellect is important and should be cherished as from God, Who placed it within us. Yet, if “His peace passes our understanding,” then it must be that our hearts were made to overwhelm our intelligence when God is near.

Irene has schooled me in the university of the heart. I know intimacy with God through her struggles to make me see with my heart. I think wives do this well if they are given an entrance into the heart of their husbands. Learning to see and understand with my heart strengthens my intuitive abilities and I am able to substantiate my intellect while I grow closer to the Spirit of the Lord where I can come in contact with His voice.

I think the best followers are the true leaders and those followers, or servant leaders need intuitive input more and more. Our servant/leadership team has a way of saying this. We say, “It seems good to us and the Holy Ghost.” This means that our hearts are responding in the affirmative. So then, we are not responding only with the facts given to our intellects but by the participation of our hearts as well.

It is not healthy to misrepresent the prophetic by operating from intuition. Neither is it responsible to give intuition a bad name by demoralizing it nor causing an opinion that it is unclean. Intellect should be cherished. Intuition should be equally honored. Prophecy should be “earnestly desired.”

What happens if we call everything that is above the know facts prophetic? We will then find that the prophetic is wrong. Wrong prophecy is possibly “false prophecy.” This all stems from an improper perspective and speech concerning the intuition we’ve been given. Many people say that the Lord tells them things and when those things turn out to be wrong they either try to ignore the wrong prophecy, develop a poor opinion of the Father God and condemn themselves, or place themselves in an arrogant state of social behavior.

A far better language would be, “I feel,” “it seems,” or “I perceive,” rather than “I see,” “I’m hearing,” or “the Lord says.” For some unknown reason our egos are massaged by letting people know we are prophetic as opposed to being able to be led by our hearts through perceiving or feeling. You see, at any given moment it is socially acceptable for my heart to be wrong but it is never acceptable for prophecy to be incorrect. We should learn to present our hearts more than we present ourselves as prophets. We should learn to accept others in the same way.

If we would seek a proper definition of intellect, intuition and prophecy, and put them to use in their proper strengths and uses, we would be able to healthily seek the Father in all ways and witness the Lord moving in, through and with us at all times.

When Jesus said, “Follow me.” They followed their hearts. Thus, they followed Him. Ask the children where Jesus is. They’ll tell you, “He’s in my heart.” Follow your heart. Follow Him.
