It was a beautiful hot summer Saturday in Piura. We got a bit of rest in the morning with a leisurely cup of coffee and an internet connection to get some communications done. We were picked up by Pastor Lionel and taken to the city square for lunch at a restaurant that had a jungle motif. We discussed the city and the region as well as the church, asking Lionel what he needed from us. We walked around the city square and took in the activities of the people for an hour or so and then back to our hotel to get ready for an evening church service.
Church was lively and the expectations were high. The music is always as loud as it can get and it seems they like it that way.
I preached on the subject of taking the miracles of Jesus into your home from Matthew 9:1-8. Jesus went to his own home town and they brought Him a paralytic. Jesus first forgave the man’s sin and then said, “rise, take up your bed and walk.” The man got up and went to his home. Jesus was home and the man took the miracle to his own home. I fold the people that they could be imitators of us in the miracle healing power of Christ Jesus and do the same things that we do in their homes and their home meetings.
Kevin then ministered to quite a number of people with different infirmities. He called for those with eyesight problems and worked through several of them until there was clearing of their sight.
Here are some photos from the meetings:

Day One & Two: January 12 & 13, 2012
Kevin Ford & I flew all day, starting in the early morning and we arrived in Lima at around 11 AM. Long flights for both of us but they were uneventful and on time. We rejoiced to see the loving and friendly faces that we have come to know so well: Marco Llinella, Jonathan Llinella and Juan Carlos Ramirez.
We went on the usual Lima “joy ride” through to the other side of the city from the airport and immediately bedded down comfortably at the home of Juan Carlos & Aida. Aida is about to give birth to their very first baby at any time now. She is full term and is due to be induced on the 25th of the month. I’m hoping that the baby will come while we are here though, as we are scheduled to leave Peru on the 23rd.
We awakened on Friday morning and had a leisurely visit with our dear peruvian friends and fought to get internet connections to work to very little avail.
We then drove to Mira Flores and had an inspirational meeting with our new friend Ken Comer with lunch at one of my favorite cafe’s. We talked and told stories and we found out how Ken and his wife moved to Peru in 1999 from the US after pastoring in Montana for several years. We hope to continue to stay in contact with Ken and perhaps do some work with he and his wife here in Peru. Ken pastored in Montana in the same area with Pat & Val Holloran and they used to go fishing together. Due to the fishing relationship that was established between them I was able to hear some wonderful stories about my beloved friend Pat that I had not heard before…
We headed to the airport again and caught a short flight to Piura, which is in the north of Peru. It was a warm summer evening when we got off the plane and walked across the tarmac to the small airport terminal. There was a car and driver awaiting us to carry our luggage and we hopped in for a memorable ride to the Hotel Imperial, a place that Rick Wilson, Joshua Anderson, Kevin Ford and I called our resting place when we were here last year.
At the first meeting here in Piura, we met our friend Pastor Lionel. The music was loud and lively and the people were excited to see us again, along with many new faces. Marco and I preached on the Kingdom authority within every believer to protect their destiny by telling the devil, “Satan! Get out of my life!” The devil is to blame for sickness, pain, people abuse, robbery and poverty. The believer must take their position against the “father of lies” and command him to “Get out of my life!”
Kevin began to use the scriptures like words of knowledge, reading Matthew 8 where Jesus healed the leper, the paralytic, and the fever of Peter’s mother-in-law, thus he called for people with skin conditions, mobility issues and fever to come forward. Every person was healed that we ministered to. Demons were cast out of a young lady that came from a couple of towns away. She needed to be set free and she heard to some men were preaching the gospel in Piura and setting people free. Satan went out of her life when we commanded them with the voice of liberty in Jesus’ name.
The meeting was very powerful and we then were taken to Chiffa (Chinese) for our first meal in Piura.
We are looking forward to a very blessed time in Pirua for the next two days of ministry and fellowship with the ministries here.

2 Corinthians 10: 3-6
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds), casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience shall be made full.
You can think anything you want to think. Most people do not realize that fact.
Our hearts should control our minds.
Our minds should never control our lives.
You will never have a child tell you that Jesus abides in their mind. Your heart is your life center and not your mind.
Your mind should be under the authority of your heart.
You should be able to see with your mind but controlled by your heart.
Meditate on the gospel of Jesus Christ and see that great and glorious gospel.
Our minds hold and captivate the gospel for our hearts to be strengthened.
This miracle of the gospel taking place in our minds instead of our the world controlling our minds.

Wayne C Anderson tells the stories behind the great story! What is behind those Nativity scenes? The powerful plan of God the Father to bring forth His only begotten Son into this world for our salvation. Several videos from the Churches where Wayne ministered the great Christmas story have videos available.
I like to schedule a few days at churches between Thanksgiving and Christmas just to reveal the years of study that I have put into what is behind the Christmas story. I like to call it, “Oh! What a Night!” or, “What’s Behind those Nativity Scenes?” This year, I told the Christmas Story at Revival Outreach Center in Tampa Bay, Florida on Sunday Morning, December 11th.
Then I was in Issaquah, Washington with Steven & Jodi McMullin and the Kingdom Praise Church for 3 services doing the Christmas Revelation of Jesus Christ. I have embedded the videos for you below.

You can think anything that you want to think. It is totally up to you. You do not have to live out the thoughts that come into your mind. You can stop them by replacing them with the images of the gospel. That great gospel will then destroy every speculation of thought. The gospel will destroy the power of those thought ruts.

Everyone’s mind is made to be able to see without our eyes. We all have photographic minds, we do not all have photographic memories. A photographic memory is very rare.
The ability to see with our mind’s eye is something that every person can do no matter how intelligent or unintelligent a person might be.
This is a wonderful took that brings to us the images of life. Good story tellers give us words that we turn into pictures automatically and it is as if we are actually there in the story. We experience the story.
When it comes to the gospel, God wants to put you in the middle of it so that you might experience it and not just read about it. Thus, you and I can walk with Jesus as he walked.
We can captivate every thought, we can arrest out thoughts and overpower those thoughts by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
You can think anything that you want to think. It is totally up to you. You do not have to live out the thoughts that come into your mind. You can stop them by replacing them with the images of the gospel.
